“Public finances in numbers” is the title of the first lecture in the series of the Academy of Economic Education organized by the Institute of Finance and Accounting of the Zamojska Academy. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Elżbieta Dziura. The initiative is aimed at high school students in the region and participants of Universities of the Third Age. The project aims to shape and enhance knowledge in the field of economic and financial education among young people and seniors. The project is part of the celebrations of the Year of Economic Education, declared by the Senate of the Republic of Poland in 2024. – We want to build awareness and expand knowledge in the areas of finance, economics, and accounting. We have prepared a series of lectures aimed at Universities of the First Age and Universities of the Third Age. The first lecture focuses on “Public finances in numbers” in terms of collecting and spending public funds that make up the state budget – explained Dr. Elżbieta Dziura from the Institute of Finance and Accounting of the AZ Academy. Over 200 participants from the Zamojska University of the Third Age took part in the lecture.
