For several years there has been a dispute over the ringing of bells in the basilica in Hałcnów. After complaints from residents, measurements were carried out which showed exceeding of permissible noise levels. The matter was taken up by municipal services and the Voivodeship Inspectorate for Environmental Protection. The parish has already restricted the operation of the bells, and now they also have to face a financial penalty.
