On March 10, 2024, the call for applications for co-financing investment costs related to reducing low emissions by exchanging low-efficiency and non-ecological heat sources, fueled by solid fuel or biomass, for ecological and high-performance heat sources was launched. The existing old heat source can be replaced with a new heat source, powered in an ecological way, such as:
– condensing gas boiler,
– condensing oil boiler,
– electrically powered boiler,
– heat pump,
– biomass boiler.
The grant is provided to co-finance the purchase and installation costs of a new heat source up to 3,000 PLN, but not more than 100% of the costs incurred. By using the grant from the Municipality, it is possible to benefit from other subsidies (e.g. from the Clean Air Program or the Warm Home Program) for the same purpose. However, the total amount of subsidies cannot exceed 100% of the eligible investment costs. Applications for the grant, along with attachments, must be submitted by September 30, 2024, while the exchange of the heat source must be completed by November 15, 2024. The application must be submitted before the purchase and installation of the new heat source. Applications are processed on an ongoing basis in the order of submission until the financial resources allocated in the Municipality’s budget for a given budget year are exhausted. More information can be obtained from the Department of Land Management and Environmental Protection of the Ełk Municipality Office, ul. T. Kościuszki 28A, 19-300 Ełk, in room No. 15, or by calling (87) 619-45-18. Important! A new application form for the grant will be in effect from March 23, 2024. The application form along with attachments will be available at the Ełk Municipality Office and on the Municipality’s website immediately after the entry into force of the Resolution of the Ełk Municipality Council of February 29, 2024, regarding the amendment of Resolution No. LXXV/576/2023 of the Ełk Municipality Council of May 26, 2023, concerning the principles and procedures for granting and settling targeted subsidies from the budget of the Ełk Municipality for co-financing investment costs in the field of reducing low emissions.
