The city of Iława has… cottages and an attractive plot of land in Siemiany – and wants to spend a significant amount of money on it. What’s going on here?

“The construction of a summer house in Siemiany”, for which the city of Iława would allocate 170 thousand złoty in the next year – this intention of the city authorities, expressed in the draft budget resolution for 2025, has caused surprise – first among the readers of the Info Iława portal, who expressed their astonishment, reacting to an article about planned investments for the next year, and then among the councilors – some of whom do not support the city’s plan to build a summer house and suggest abandoning this expenditure in favor of other, more urgent needs in the city.
