Another edition of the Green Budget of the Drawsko Pomorskie Municipality is starting! This is an opportunity for residents to decide how green areas in our municipality can be changed. From September 7th, you will be able to submit your own projects, and in October, residents will choose which ones will be implemented in 2027. The Green Budget is a special form of participatory budgeting, in which residents can submit ideas regarding greenery and the development of public spaces. Residents know best where new plantings should be created, improve the appearance of existing green areas, or introduce solutions that will make the surrounding environment more friendly. Do you have an idea? Submit a project! Projects for the Green Budget 2027 can be submitted from September 7th to September 18th, 2026. Before submitting your idea, it is worth considering its scope, place of implementation, and all costs associated with completing the task. The calculation should take into account not only the purchase of plants or materials, but also other necessary expenses for the full implementation of the project, such as preparing the area, transportation, carrying out work, documentation, supervision, and any external services. Submitting a project will also require gathering the required number of signatures from residents supporting the idea. After the submission period, all proposed projects will be reviewed. This stage will last from September 21st to October 2nd, 2026. The review will include assessing if the project meets the requirements of the Green Budget, if it can be implemented in the specified location, if the cost calculation is realistic, and if the task is possible to complete within the set timeframe. Projects that pass the review will be put to a vote by residents. Voting will take place from October 9th to October 23rd. The residents of the Drawsko Pomorskie Municipality will decide which projects will be implemented. Voting will be possible in two ways: electronically – through a form available on the website zielone-drawsko.budzetobywatelski.pl, or in person – by downloading and completing the voting card at the voting point and depositing it into the urn. The voting point will be located in room number 117 at the seat of the City Hall in Drawsko Pomorskie, at 41 Sikorskiego Street. Each resident will be able to vote only once and only for one project. The results of the Green Budget 2027 will be announced by November 2nd, 2026. The key dates for the Green Budget 2027 are as follows: September 7-18, 2026 – submission of projects September 21-October 2, 2026 – project review October 9-23, 2026 – resident voting by November 2, 2026 – announcement of results We encourage residents to actively participate – both in submitting their own ideas and in voting later on. The Green Budget is an opportunity to have a real impact on how green areas in our municipality will look. The Citizens’ Budget 2027 is also starting simultaneously. At the same time, we are also starting another edition of the Citizens’ Budget of the Drawsko Pomorskie Municipality for 2027.
