The lamp exchange has been completed.

The replacement of lamps carried out at the request of Mayor Janusz Romaniuk on 12 streets in Myszkow will not only improve the city’s lighting standards but also result in significant savings ranging from 44 to 77%.

On the streets Nadrzeczna, Towarowa, and Helenówka, where 100% of the lamps were replaced, energy consumption savings will be at 56%. However, the record savings come from the replacement of lamps at the intersection of 1 Maja Street and Modrzejowska Street, where the savings will be at 77%. The Enion team completed the replacement 15 days before the agreed deadline written in the contract.

To prevent the city from incurring high lighting costs, it is not possible to switch off street lamps as it was done in the past. That is why I approached the project of replacing lamps with energy-efficient ones, prepared by the Energy Service of the City Hall, with special optimism. I also wanted to thank the Enion team for their very efficient completion of the task – said Mayor Romaniuk, who met with the Enion team at the final stage of the lamp replacement on Dworcowy Square.
