The local government of the province is establishing a museum of the gentry near Toruń. The ruins of the Sczaniecki family palace are to be renovated.

Two years ago, the Sczaniecki family donated a historic but crumbling palace with a park in Nawra near Toruń to the local government of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. There will be a museum of gentry and village life here. The restoration work will cost at least 39 million PLN. This is not the only planned rural museum.
