Today, Mayor Włodzimierz Żak, along with deputy Iwona Franelak, treasurer Katarzyna Kochman, councilor Beata Pochodnia, and employees of the Investment Department, Development Department, and Promotion, Culture and Sports Department of the City Office of Myszkow, handed over the keys to new municipal apartments on Millenium Street 32.
“I wish you all to feel at home here, with mutual neighborly help being your daily support,” said Mayor Żak at the ceremonial opening. There are 14 residential units and two commercial units in two buildings. One of the residential units has been designated as a training apartment for people with disabilities.
Construction of the apartments began in June 2022. Before signing the construction contract, in July 2021, we applied to the BGK for funding. Two months later, we signed a contract for a grant of 3,337,938.60 PLN. The total investment amounted to 5,495,493.00 PLN. The technical acceptance of the buildings took place on February 9th of this year.
