On August 6, 2026, the official opening of the new multi-functional field in Gierczyce took place. During the ceremony, there was a symbolic handover of the facility to the residents and its consecration, carried out by the parish priest of Gierczyce, Father Bogdan Florek. The new facility is another investment developing the sports infrastructure of the Bochnia Municipality. The field will provide convenient access for residents – both children and youth, as well as adults.
