Under the title on Monday, September 28, a play was staged at the City Cultural Center in which three characters live in a certain city and despite being a fairy tale, it cannot be said that they lived long and happily. The city is dark and instead of air, the residents are surrounded by car exhaust and chimneys. Sad and frustrated people are in constant rush and their only goal is to chase after money. The city is approaching its downfall.
In such circumstances, we meet three friends called the “Śmietkas”, who are trying to find a spell by searching for the missing script – the “Papier”, on which the ancient Father Sky and Mother Earth wrote down 10 timeless rules on how to take care of their environment. Only by following these 10 actions in the order given by the Great Lords, can people be awakened from lethargy and mobilized to act.
Such an extraordinary fairy tale was proposed by the Department of Urban Infrastructure and Investments (dealing with environmental protection) and the Department of City Promotion, as a summary of the “Cleaning the World” campaign, to primary schools in Myszków. Fourth-grade students from primary schools took advantage of the proposal by the departments of the City Hall. The Pozytywka Theater from Krakow, which performed the fairy tale in its extraordinary performance, delighted the audience. For this young audience, it was an unforgettable experience.
