The XII Promoter of Myszków Gala took place on Friday evening. This year, the statuettes were presented to the sounds of Mozart’s compositions, performed by the as always reliable and fantastic Myszkovia Band orchestra. The host and presenter was the Mayor of Myszków, Włodzimierz Żak, along with Katarzyna Miklas. “Mozart’s Lights” was the theme of this year’s gala. The composer’s most popular pieces enveloped in a range of colorful lights, the orchestra and presenters in period costumes made us feel like we had been transported to a completely different land on this evening.
The Jury, appointed by the Mayor under the leadership of the Deputy Mayor Iwona Franelak, awarded the following Statuettes and distinctions:
– Large and medium-sized enterprises category – the Promoter of Myszków statuette for the Okręgowa Spółdzielnia Mleczarska in Myszków (this is the second statuette for this enterprise). In this category, the Jury did not award any distinctions.
– Small and micro-enterprises category – Statuette for Mrs. Małgorzata and Mr. Sławomir Budka (“The Green ones”, who have been continuously present in our market for 28 years). Distinction for Mr. Eugeniusz Buła – the owner of the Production Blacksmith Plant.
– Culture – Promoter of Myszków statuette for Przemysław Smaczny (musician, drummer playing with leading vocalists in the country and abroad, recently on tour with Piotr Rubik in the USA). Distinction for the local poet Mrs. Prakseda Noszczyk.
– Sport – In this category, we had two Promoter statuettes for: runner Tamara Koczur, for the Country Defense League for the sole promotion of shooting competitions in the province. Distinctions for: Michalina Typer – an athlete, Zbigniew Adamowski – a cyclist and runner, Adam Dziuk – a cross-country cycling champion among police officers.
– Myszków Enthusiast Promoter for the Myszków Motorcycle Club, distinction for the Young Volunteers and Mrs. Katarzyna Goc from Mrzygłód.
– Patron of Culture – Statuette for Mrs. Urszula Jędrusińska.
– Friend of the City – Statuette for the Management Board of the Katowice Special Economic Zone.
The evening was complemented by a beautiful concert by Kasia Kowalska, who performed with the Myszkovia Band. The entire ceremony was broadcast live on the ITV Region internet television.
