The municipality of Poświętne has chosen a company to modernize the sports infrastructure in the municipality. The project is worth 10 million złoty. In the radio program “Gmina Poświętne na Fali,” we also talked about the programs Personal Assistant for Disabled Individuals and Respite Care, which will be implemented by the municipality. Mayor Michał Franas also invited everyone to the Hubal Vigil.
The municipality of Poświętne has selected a contractor to modernize the sports infrastructure in the municipality. The project is worth 10 million złoty, with 9 million złoty of support from the Polish Deal. The investment will consist of several elements: the expansion of the gymnasium and the construction of a track at the Primary School in Poświętne, the modernization of the surface on one of the fields at the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Studzianna, and the construction of a skatepark also at the GOSiR in Studzianna. Mayor Michał Franas announced that the task will be carried out by a company from Radom that proposed a budget within the planned investment. If everything goes according to plan, the project will be completed next year.
In the radio program “Gmina Poświętne na Fali,” we also talked about the funds acquired by the local government for the implementation of two government programs. 104,000 złoty will go to the municipality for activities within the Personal Assistant for Disabled Individuals program, and 61,000 złoty for Respite Care. The funds were granted for 2024. Michał Franas emphasized that this will be a continuation of the implementation of government programs in the municipality of Poświętne, as this year the local government also supports residents who take care of disabled individuals thanks to ministerial funds.
Mayor Michał Franas also announced the implementation of tasks within the sołectwo grants. In the municipality of Poświętne, such tasks were carried out with the support of the Sołectwo na plus program in six sołectwos: Dęba, Dęborzeczka, Gapinin Kolonia, Poręby, Studzianna, and Brudzewice. Each of them received 12,000 złoty.
In the radio program “Gmina Poświętne na Fali,” we also talked about meetings with Judge Anna Maria Wesołowska, which will take place at the School and Preschool Complex in Poświętne on December 5. Both the youngest children and the older ones, as well as teachers, parents, and grandparents of students, will participate in them.
Mayor Michał Franas also invited local residents to participate in the Hubal Vigil, which will take place at the former forester’s lodge in Bielawy on December 1. The event, organized by the Vocational Schools Complex in Radom, the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Radom, and the Opoczno Forestry Department, is also supported by the municipality of Poświętne, where annual ceremonies reminding of the last vigil spent by Major Henryk Dobrzański and his soldiers in the former forester’s lodge in Bielawy take place.
