One of the main demands is the general renovation of Wiejska Street in Inwałd. Two years ago, residents of Inwałd submitted a petition to the City Hall in Andrychów for the renovation of Wiejska Street in their village. It is the main road in the village and the main bypass for the national road,” said Aneta Walczak, a representative of the residents. She added that the street is 4 km long and the city decided to put asphalt overlays in several places. This road needs a general renovation with the construction of sidewalks, not just more asphalt overlays. We have been waiting for this for 20 years,” adds Mrs. Aneta. This road’s importance is evidenced by the fact that it was designated for detours during the residents’ protest on Friday (8.03). As they say in Inwałd, it is dangerous. They feel abandoned. That is why they decided to establish their own electoral committee NADZIEJA Andrychów Citizens’ Electoral Committee and try to win seats on the City Council. The committee’s representative is Mr. Wiesław Stwora, who could not miss the protest aimed at drawing attention to road safety in Inwałd. We wrote about it HERE. The protesters were primarily concerned about the area around the newly built supermarket on the national road. This supermarket was built on crazy plans.
