Three more points for KKS.

Kozienice residents don’t stop. On Wednesday, December 13th, Enea KKS Kozienice’s volleyball team defeated SMS PZPS Spała II with a score of 3:1 at home. It wasn’t without difficulties, especially in the first two sets, but ultimately, coach Marek Grzelczak and Michał Kalita’s team achieved their fourth consecutive victory. Kozienice started the match with the same lineup as their previous game against Neck. Wojtek Ranecki played as a setter, Karol Bartnik and Jakub Baranowski as receivers, Maciej Kałasz and Bartłomiej Koryciński in the middle, Adam Ostrowski as an attacker, and Robert Głogowski as libero.
The first set ended with a score of 31:29, and ultimately the decisive factor for KKS’s victory in this set was a successful block. Later, Kozienice stumbled and lost the second set 22:25, but the rest of the match belonged to them. They won the third set 25:17 and the fourth set 25:11, ending the match with a score of 3:1.
For KKS, this was their fourth consecutive victory, and after 12 rounds, they have 29 points. In the other Wednesday matches, Trójka won 3:1 against Lechia II, Sparta won 3:0 against Wola, Necko won 3:0 against KS Błonie, and tie-breaks were played in Ostrołęka and Kobyłka. SPS lost to Metro, and Camper lost to Polcanex. As a result, the standings have become even tighter. Sparta is in the lead with 31 points, and three teams – Metro, Necko, and KKS – all have 29 points. Wola, currently in fifth place, has a 10-point advantage over them.
The next opportunity to score points will come this Saturday when Lechia II comes to Kozienice. The match will start at 6:00 PM at the Głowaczowska street hall.
