Unlocking knowledge, conquering the future – another grant for Myszków from the EU.

Gmina Myszków will receive 1,566,330.00 PLN for the implementation of the project “Release knowledge, capture the future”. The beneficiaries of the project will be students attending schools run by the Municipality of Myszków. Its implementation is based on identified needs resulting from the results of survey research conducted among primary and secondary school students, teachers, and parents. Additional activities have been planned, which we hope will meet the needs of all students. Over the next two years, children and young people will participate in the following blocks of activities:

1. Reporters and Journalists Club (journalism workshops, photography, graphic processing of photos, and text editing) – 13 groups
2. “Science as the Key to Understanding the World” (the block will cover content from natural sciences, geography, mathematics, physics, and chemistry) – 20 groups
3. “Technology and Computer Science as a Path to Entrepreneurship” – (Career counseling activities will prepare students for making informed decisions about their further educational path and career planning, providing information about educational pathways and the needs of the job market) – 27 groups
4. Foreign Language Clubs (English, German, Russian, French to choose from. During classes, lecturers will focus on improving students’ communication skills) – 39 groups
5. Therapeutic and Educational Support Block: – logotherapeutic activities to eliminate articulatory dysfunctions. – Social therapeutic activities aimed at developing social skills, raising self-esteem, taking responsibility for decisions, developing empathy, and dialogue skills. – Corrective and compensatory activities aimed at developing perceptual-motor functions to overcome learning and writing difficulties in individuals with specific learning disabilities, improving visual-auditory analysis, visual-auditory-motor coordination, spatial orientation; developing motivational-emotional sphere – (recruitment based on assessments and opinions from the Educational-Psychological Counseling Center).

All activities will be carried out based on authorial programs tailored to the age of beneficiaries and the educational capabilities of students. Equipment such as cameras, photo editing programs, website creation software, interactive whiteboards, portable multimedia screens, software for speech therapy diagnosis and therapy, photocopy machine, fax machine, computer set, as well as sets of educational and test materials will be purchased for the implementation of the activities.
