On December 11, the Voivode of Warmia-Masuria region, Radosław Król, visited the Ełk Municipality Office. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss current issues related to the functioning of the municipality and to familiarize with the new responsibilities imposed on local governments by the latest statutory provisions. During the visit, the Voivode met with the Mayor of Ełk, Tomasz Osewski. The discussions focused on the most important challenges facing the Ełk municipality, as well as future plans related to local development. Mayor Tomasz Osewski presented the current priorities of the Ełk Municipality, including infrastructure investments and initiatives supporting local entrepreneurs and residents. Special attention was paid to new legal regulations that introduced changes in the duties of local government, which may have a significant impact on the functioning of municipal administration.
During the meeting with the employees of the Ełk Municipality Office, Voivode Radosław Król emphasized the importance of efficient management of public administration in the face of ongoing reforms. Employees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new requirements that local governments must meet in the near future.
