An exceptional evening at Góra Krzyżowa! Today the City Culture Center invites you to Góra Krzyżowa, where we will together observe a rare phenomenon – a solar eclipse! We will meet at 7:00 PM. Our guide for this extraordinary event will be Arek Kościelecki, instructor of the Photographic Section of the City Culture Center and a passionate astronomer, who will tell us about the eclipse and help us safely observe the sky. Around 8:07 PM, the Moon will cover up to 84% of the Sun’s disc, and a few minutes later the Sun will set below the horizon.
But that’s not all! When night falls, the peak of the Perseids meteor shower will also occur – one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year. Admission is free! See you at Góra Krzyżowa!
