The solemn award ceremony and distinction of the Nationwide Literary and Artistic Competition, which was organized by the Municipality of Myszków in collaboration with the Sanctuary of the Mother of God, the Patroness of Families in Leśniów, under the theme “Family – the Core of Peace for Humanity,” took place on October 19 this year.
The ceremony began with a Holy Mass at the Sanctuary of the Mother of God in Leśniów, and the award ceremony took place at the City Cultural Center, where we could watch a wonderful artistic program performed by students of Public School No. 3 under the direction of Mrs. Renata Cholewka.
The next point of the ceremony was announcing the results of the competition and presenting the awards by the Member of the Polish Sejm, Jadwiga Wiśniewska, the Deputy Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, Mariusz Kleszczewski, the Councilor of the Silesian Voivodeship Sejmik, Andrzej Hutnik, the Prior of the Pauline Fathers Order in Leśniów, Zbigniew Ptak, and the Mayor of Myszków, Janusz Romaniuk. Finally, there were solemn presentations of the awarded works by the competition laureates, which brought many emotions.
During the ceremony, there was also a presentation of the publication “Family – the Core of Peace for Humanity”, which summarizes the competition dedicated to families at the level of primary and middle schools realized by the Municipality of Myszków as a public task of the Silesian Voivodeship in the field of education in 2008, co-financed from the budget of the Silesian Voivodeship Self-Government.
