The sports competition among children and school youth was summarized at the District Office in Opoczno. Throughout the school year, students from Opoczno compete in the Children’s Games, School Youth Games, and the High School Sports Festival. During a special summary event, trophies and diplomas were awarded to the institutions that performed the best in this competition. Marcin Baranowski, the district mayor.

In the Children’s Games, in which students from the 2010 year and younger participated, the best school was the Primary School in Wójcin. Bożena Hernoga is the director of the institution. She emphasizes that the students of the school willingly take part in various sports competitions.

The School Youth Games provided an opportunity for students born in 2008 and 2009 to compete. Once again, the Primary School in Żarnów proved to be the best. Barbara Kantor is the director of the institution.

The team from the County School Complex in Opoczno emerged as the clear winners in the High School Sports Festival. Piotr Ziuziakowski, deputy director.

The school’s sporting success was also earned by Klaudia Kowalczyk.
