From Wednesday in our city, as part of World Youth Day, young people from France, Sweden and the USA are staying. “I warmly welcome you to our city. I know that you will feel good here because Myszków is a hospitable city. I hope that your stay with us will encourage you to visit Myszków again. I wish you joyful and good Youth Days in Poland,” said the host of the event, Mayor of the City Włodzimierz Żak, welcoming guests on Thursday at Dotyk Jury.
MOSiR prepared table tennis, volleyball, beach volleyball and basketball for the attendees – competitions in which both guests and hosts competed. A moment of rest was brought to the attendees by a concert performed by Jurajskie Igraszki and the Youth Orchestra of the MDK, prepared by the MDK. The whole was complemented by a delicious grill lunch prepared by the Hotel Orle Gniazdo in Hucisko. A sweet dessert in the form of yeast buns was sponsored by Piekarnia Brell. The event was organized by the Promotion, Culture and Sports Department of the City Hall, with the help of MOSiR and MDK.
