You have until November 30th to submit an application for the 300 plus benefit.

Applications for the “Dobry Start” program are accepted only until November 30th. Submitting an application after this date will only be possible if a student over 20 years of age receives a disability certificate after November 30th.

Throughout the country, over 1.3 billion PLN has been transferred to the accounts of parents and guardians for 4.4 million children. – Over 376 thousand applications for 520 thousand students were submitted by parents and guardians from the Silesian Voivodeship. In Silesia, over 152 million PLN was transferred to the accounts of parents and guardians for school supplies – says Beata Kopczyńska, regional spokesperson for ZUS in the Silesian Voivodeship.

Under the “Dobry Start” program, parents can receive 300 PLN once a year to purchase necessary school supplies, such as notebooks, backpacks, and school supplies. The benefit is granted for each child attending school aged 7 to 20, and for people with disabilities – up to 24 years old.

Applications for the benefit must be submitted electronically only. Parents have three options to submit the application: the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) of ZUS, electronic banking, or the Emp@tia portal. Actual or legal guardians of the child can only submit the 300 plus application through the PUE ZUS portal. It is important to provide the correct bank account number in the application, as ZUS will transfer the “Dobry Start” benefit to this account. Unfortunately, this is one of the most common mistakes that complicates the delivery of funds by ZUS to recipients.

Furthermore, the correct email address and phone number are additional information that will be necessary for contact regarding the application.

All decisions and notifications are communicated to parents and guardians through PUE in electronic form. They can be found on their profile on PUE ZUS even if the application was submitted using electronic banking or through the Emp@tia portal.
