ZUS has launched its first mobile application mZUS. – Thanks to it, you will be able to apply for family benefits such as 500 plus or Good Start – informed prof. Gertruda Uścińska, president of ZUS.
– We want to give our customers the widest possible range of options for applying for benefits paid by ZUS. We assume that we should make it easier for parents, in every possible way, to apply for benefits. We are well aware that taking care of a child and home takes a lot of time. We hope that thanks to the application, we will be able to further shorten the time of applying for benefits – says the professor.
Applications around the clock
The possibility of submitting applications electronically is above all a great convenience for parents, who decide themselves when to do it: in the morning, at noon or in the evening. – According to our reports, applications for benefits are practically submitted around the clock, parents use electronic ZUS both early in the morning and after midnight. And thanks to digitization, you can also apply for benefits on weekends, when traditional visits to offices are impossible – adds Beata Kopczyńska, regional press spokesperson for ZUS in the Silesian Voivodeship.
500+ and Good Start in the mZUS application
The mZUS application is intended to facilitate the submission of applications. It is intended for people who can benefit from family benefits. In the initial period of operation, customers will be able to submit applications for the good start benefit 300+ and the educational benefit 500+ via it, i.e. DS-R, DS-O, DS-S and SW-R and SW-O. In the long run, it will be expanded to include further family benefits such as RKO applications and subsidies for crèches.
– Applications are prepared in the form of intuitive wizards. If the customer previously submitted an application for the 300+ or 500+ benefit to ZUS and we granted him the benefit – he can create a new application based on it. All data from the previous application will be downloaded to the wizard. If something has changed, it can be corrected – explains the spokesperson.
One application, many possibilities
In the application, the customer will have access to applications that have reached ZUS through various channels, such as: the mZUS application, PUE ZUS, online banking or the Emp@tia system. Thanks to it, he will also be able to preview data on benefit payments. The amount of the benefit and the date of its payment will be visible. Through the application, there is also the possibility of establishing telephone contact with COT, provided that the device allows for such a connection. The application also leads us to the page with the reservation of an e-visit to ZUS, and also allows to read messages that have appeared on the customer’s PUE profile.
Application only with a PUE profile
To activate the application, the customer must connect it to their PUE profile. This means that without having a PUE profile, you will not be able to use the application. The mZUS application is intended for mobile devices with Android and iOS operating systems. The customer should download it only from Google Play and the App Store. Detailed information on how to install and connect the application with the PUE account can be found on the website https://www.zus.pl/mzus
