The Great Masurian Bicycle Loop is ready now.

The route around the Great Masurian Lakes is 300 km long and is the longest trail of its kind in Poland.

The trail was opened for use in early June. The construction cost 80 million PLN, half of which was financed from EU funds. The loop connects towns such as Giżycko, Węgorzewo, Mikołajki, Mrągowo, Ryn, Orzysz, Miłki, Pozezdrze, Pisz, and Ruciane-Nida. The project involved preparing the appropriate surface, as well as 18 cyclist service stations and 9 observation towers.

Along the trail, in addition to lakes and picturesque landscapes, tourists can find attractions such as: Boyen Fortress and the rotating bridge in Giżycko, the famous amphitheater in Mrągowo, the charming “Leśniczówka” in Pranie, the mute swan reserve on Lake Łuknajno, the crane sanctuary in Bagna Nietlickie, and the oldest church in Masuria in Miłki.
